This role involves advising executives and the Board on cyber risk, regulatory compliance, and security posture, while also leading incident response and supply chain risk management. Similarly, Panthalassa in the USA is hiring a Director of Information Security to define secure-by-default architectures, strengthen identity and access management, and lead vulnerability management.

In the UK, East Sussex County Council is seeking a Head of Cyber Security to provide strategic leadership in cybersecurity, information governance, and risk management for public services. Chamelio in Israel is also looking for a Head of Security to own its security strategy across product, engineering, cloud, and corporate IT, with a focus on embedding security into product development and establishing standards for AI and LLM features. LION in Australia is another organization seeking a Head of Cyber Security to define and execute its cyber strategy across enterprise IT, OT, cloud, and emerging technologies.

Technical engineering roles are also prevalent. Abbott in the USA has an opening for a Staff Cybersecurity Engineer to drive AI-enabled cybersecurity workflows and product security strategy, focusing on vulnerability risk reduction and scaling security decision-making.

Product management roles are also available, such as a Principal Product Manager for Identity Threat Detection and Response at Elastic in Canada. This remote position involves defining the vision and roadmap for Elastic Security's ITDR capabilities, including human, non-human, and AI agent identities, and integrating identity signals across SIEM and XDR.
