About zeroday.news

A continuously updated cybersecurity desk: headlines, CVEs and threat intelligence, rewritten in plain language.

Who publishes it

ZeroDay News publishes zeroday.news, a cybersecurity news and vulnerability information website. Our coverage brings together security reporting, vendor advisories, research and public vulnerability records.

How a story is made

Our crawler watches around fifty public security sources: vendor advisories, government CERTs, the National Vulnerability Database, security research blogs and mainstream technology press. Every new item is checked for relevance and completeness, then written up as an original plain-language report that cross-references more than one account of the same event where possible.

We use automated tools to draft and check aggregated articles for substance, topicality and house style. The ZeroDay News byline identifies the publication; it does not mean that a named human reporter independently investigated every story. Readers can follow the source link on an aggregated article to check its underlying reporting or advisory.

Our editorial standard is to distinguish confirmed facts from claims, attribute source reporting and avoid presenting another writer's analysis as our own firsthand work. Automated summaries can contain errors. For operational decisions, check the original vendor or agency advisory and the affected versions.

Vulnerability records in the CVE Tracker are imported directly from NVD and carry their official identifiers, severity and description.
