Kyle Spitze led an offshoot of the violent extremist collective and victimized dozens of girls, coercing them to degrade themselves under threats of doxing and swatting. The post Early 764 member sentenced to 77 years, longest prison term to date for a nihilistic violent extremist appeared first on CyberScoop.

Kyle William Spitze, a 27-year-old from Friendsville, Tennessee, and a leader within the nihilistic violent extremist group known as 764, has been sentenced to 77 years in prison. This marks the longest federal sentence ever imposed on an individual associated with such an extremist ideology. Spitze, who also used the monikers Chrimhn, Criminal, and Criminaloli, pleaded guilty in December 2024 to two counts of producing child sexual abuse material (CSAM), one count of possessing CSAM, and one count of distributing animal crush videos.
A federal judge in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee imposed the maximum sentence for each charge, ordering them to be served consecutively. Spitze was identified as an original member of 764 and an administrator of its affiliated network, Harm Nation.
According to the Department of Justice, Spitze victimized dozens of girls, coercing multiple individuals through threats of doxing and swatting. These threats compelled victims to produce CSAM of themselves, engage in self-mutilation, and create images depicting Spitze's online moniker in their own blood. Investigators, upon obtaining a search warrant for Spitze's cell phone in February 2024, discovered approximately 25 photo albums titled with nicknames or first names. These albums contained images and videos consistent with those he uploaded to his Telegram channel, depicting the coerced acts. Additionally, videos were found showing dogs, rabbits, and chickens being decapitated by his victims under coercion.
In his plea agreement, Spitze admitted to having a terrorist motive behind his crimes. Attorney General Todd Blanche emphasized the severity of these offenses, describing them as "preying on vulnerable children in the name of a violent and twisted ideology." John A. Eisenberg, assistant attorney general for national security, stated that the sentence sends a strong message that such depravity will not be tolerated by civil society.
The FBI initiated an investigation into Harm Nation in December 2023 after receiving a report from Discord detailing the group's activities and members' use of the platform. Investigators quickly identified Spitze as one of the most prolific members of Harm Nation and the administrator of an associated Telegram channel. FBI Director Kash Patel affirmed the agency's commitment to identifying, locating, and arresting participants in nihilistic violent extremist networks, noting a significant increase in arrests of such offenders in the past year.
The 764 network, along with groups like Harm Nation and The Com, is described as a sprawling network comprising thousands of individuals, typically aged between 11 and 25. Their stated goal is to foster social unrest and destroy civilized society through the corruption and exploitation of children and other vulnerable populations.
Spitze's sentencing is part of a broader law enforcement effort targeting 764 members. This includes the recent sentencing of Alexis Aldair Chavez, who received 40 years in prison for blackmailing and coercing girls into self-harm, animal torture, and producing CSAM. Other alleged 764 members arrested since 2025 include Leonidas Varagiannis, Prasan Nepal, Baron Cain Martin, Tony Christopher Long, Erik Lee Madison, Zachary Sweeney, and Aaron Corey.
