This data can be bought and sold, creating a complex web of data ownership that makes it challenging to track down and remove all instances of one's information.
The "pee in the pool" analogy effectively conveys the idea that once data is "in the pool" of the internet, it becomes mixed with everything else, making it impossible to isolate and remove without affecting the entire environment.
While complete deletion is improbable, individuals can take steps to minimize their online presence and enhance their privacy.
